Mokume Gane - translucent red/orange/yellow polymer clay and
gold metal leaf laid on a white layer of clay and used to cover an egg.
Accented top and bottom with a gold filled filigree beadcap and
orange glass beads.
Handsanded with several fine grits, buffed and varnished with a polyester
sealer for shine and durability.The
hanger is made of 15 gauge (1.5 mm) bronze wire and the clayfoot is
weighted down with a consealed metal washer to ensure stability. |
